Un arco lungo 190 metri con 2000 tonnellate di acciaio sospeso sul Tevere, questo è il ponte della Musica a Roma. Progettato dallo studio londinese Buro Happold lo stesso che ha ridisegno Times Square a New York, deve Il suo nome al compositore romano Armando Trovajoli, autore del famosissimo brano “Roma non fa la stupida stasera…”. Si distingue per i due grandi archi ribassati in acciaio, inclinati verso l'esterno, che hanno la funzione di sorreggere l'impalcato metallico. In breve tempo è diventato un luogo di incontro, qui la gente passeggia, legge, si bacia, fa sport, balla, guarda scorrere il fiume, ed è uno spazio amato particolarmente dagli appassionati di skateboard. Così hanno messo in piedi uno skatepark autorganizzandosi e rendendo lo spazio sotto il ponte “skate-abile”. Le pareti dell’area sottostante il ponte sono state completamente dipinte con grandi graffiti dai colori acidi, così da ricorda il set del film “Paranoic Park” di Gus Van Sant, con un tono meno malsano. Se sotto gli archi è il regno degli skater, sul ponte i lettori s’immergo nelle storie dei libri, o s’incontrano coppie di innamorati, che si scambiano promesse di eterno amore. Ma è anche uno spazio dove i genitori portano i figli a imparare ad andare in bicicletta o sui pattini. Un luogo che vive tutto l’anno, non conosce stagioni, infatti puoi incontrare gruppi che, in pieno inverno e a tutte le ore s’impegno in attività di crossFit incuranti del freddo e della pioggia, alla più meditativa pratica del tai-chi, a danze di gruppo o coppie di ballerini di tango, perfino acrobatiche ragazze sui tessuti aerei, insomma uno spettacolo continuo.

In a short time it has become a meeting place, here people walk, read, kiss, play sports, dance, watch the river flow, and it is a space particularly loved by skateboard enthusiasts. So they set up a skatepark by themselves and made the space under the bridge “skate-able”. The walls of the area below the bridge have been completely painted with large acid-colored graffiti, so as to recall the set of the film "Paranoic Park" by Gus Van Sant, with a less unhealthy tone. If under the arches is the realm of skaters, on the bridge the readers immerse themselves in the stories of the books, or you’ll meet couples of lovers, who exchange promises of eternal love. But it is also a space where parents take their children to learn how to ride a bike or roller-skate. A place that lives all year round, knows no seasons, in fact you can meet groups that, in the middle of winter and at all hours, engage in crossFit activities regardless of the cold and rain, to the more meditative practice of tai-chi, to group dances or pairs of tango dancers or even acrobatic girls on aerial fabrics: it is a continuous show.
