A marzo, a pochi giorni dallo scoppio della guerra in Ucraina, io e altri tre amici ci siamo diretti in Polonia e Ucraina a portare aiuti umanitari e ad dare una mano alla popolazione locale. Il viaggio è durato all’incirca 5 giorni con diversi spostamenti sul territorio polacco e anche due sconfinamenti in territorio Ucraino.
In quei giorni ho cercato di cogliere e di raccontare l’umanità e il viaggio che abbiamo incontrato e che abbiamo dovuto affrontare: una sorta di ‘ritorno al passato’, una quotidianità e un modo di vivere e di affrontare la vita che nelle mie frenetiche giornate milanesi si è completamente perso ma che in quei pochi giorni mi hanno fatto riscoprire e desiderare.

In March, a few days after the outbreak of the war in Ukraine, me and three other friends headed to Poland and Ukraine to bring humanitarian aid and to help to the local population. The trip lasted approximately 5 days with several trips to Polish territory and also two trespasses into Ukrainian territory.
In those days I tried to tell about humanity and the journey we encountered and that we had to face: a 'back to the past', an everyday life and a way of living that in my hectic Milanese days was completely lost but that in those few days made me rediscover and desire.
